DIDEM & CAGLAR – TURKISH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT THE DECORIUM, LONDON
He looked at her with such devotion, like she was the only person in the whole world. And she is for him. Didem and Caglar got married on a beautiful autumn day in Wood Green, London. Anyone could easily tell how in love and over the moon they were on their wedding day. They were both glowing with happiness.
Before the celebrations started, we headed to Broomfield Park for the couple photo shoot. As a wedding photographer, I absolutely adore when my couples allow me plenty of time for their couple photos. We had the chance to explore this beautiful park and find different spots that were the perfect background for their romantic session. We were blessed with great weather, and all those golden fall colors… we couldn’t have asked for more! Didem and Caglar did the rest, felt so comfortable in each other’s arms that completely forgot about my camera and let me capture the magic.

The lake, the nature and their love were a perfect combination. Didem and Caglar were very kind and helpful at all times, and enjoyed very much their session, which made it so easy for me. The fact that they are both incredibly good looking was an added bonus! We had the chance to take some beautiful bridal portraits and groom portraits before leaving the park.

The wedding reception took place at The Decorium, a stunning wedding venue in Wood Green, North London. Their Emperor Suite was tinted in pink and the tables were ready, waiting for their guests to arrive and taste the wonderful Turkish food.
On the stage, next to their table, a heart shaped, rose swirl wedding cake that smelled absolutely delicious.
I was working with the talented team of wedding cinematographers at IamMedia UK, and we were all feeling so inspired by how beautiful the room was and how warm and lovely all guests were.

As their family and friends watched with a smile, the bride and groom made their entrance and did the three rounds that are a Turkish tradition. Their song played and they had their first dance as husband and wife, that had an epic ending with a gold confetti canon explosion! I will never forget the loving glances and the proud smiles in Caglar’s face, he literally couldn’t take his eyes off of his bride. Definitely one of the happiest grooms I have photographed, ever!

After the cake cutting, it was time for the party! I said it before and I will say it again, Turkish people just KNOW how to have fun at weddings. Everyone joined for the dancing and followed the beat of the drums until their feet hurt.
