‘WILD BERRIES AND BEAMS’ STYLED SHOOT – FEATURED IN THE ENGLISH WEDDING BLOG
Back in January last year, I had the pleasure to be involved in a wedding styled shoot with a wonderful team of creative professionals in the wedding industry. We joined forces to put together our vision of a warm and rustic wedding for the winter brides, inspired by a palette of beautiful berry reds that would be off set by the crisp light of winter.
It was hard work for everyone but we absolutely loved the results. The cherry on top was definitely the beautiful feature in one of the top blogs for brides in the UK, The English Wedding Blog. And now that we have been featured, I can finally share with you all the images from the day! Scroll down for some behind the scenes pics and links and full credits, you may want to hire some of these people for your own wedding 😉
We started the shoot outdoors, photographing this stunning cake covered in chocolate and gold by the lovely cake designer Hannah, owner of Butter Beautiful.
The stunning bridal gown and headpiece are by Kate at Kate Edmondson Bridal Couture, adding style and romanticism to the shoot.
Our groom for the day looked like a modern day gentleman with a classic navy blue tux with black velvet shawl lapel, thanks to the amazing work of Keye, at Keye London Groomswear & Menswear.
And because beauty is in the details, we also had calligrapher and designer Gemma Milly on board with her stunning work for the stationery.
A wedding stylist can help make your vision into a reality and Dani, founder of Vintage Party Arrangements went above and beyond to make sure everything in our shoot was perfect, and created different set ups that photographed beautifully.
Zuzanna at Bloomantic was in charge of the flowers and put so much love and dedication into creating this wonderful bridal bouquet, just ideal for our concept. She also added her little touch with some flowers on the cake, a buttonhole for the groom and a foliage garland.
Our models Sasha and Rosie looked great thanks to the amazing work of our Make-up and Hair Artist, the very talented and very lovely Katie Wilton.
Inspired by the unique features of the venue where the shoot took place, we created a rustic chic atmosphere with elements of country manor charm. Headstone Manor, home to Harrow museum, is a listed estate which boasts an enviable history. It has the only functioning moat in London, a country manor house, a granary and two barns. One of them has been extensively renovated and is now a wedding venue, The Great Barn, where we had the pleasure of working.
To finish this already long and full of content blog post, I thought I would share with you all a few Behind the scenes photos, taken by my assistant Julia Tillbert.
