This was the first time I met the Hussain family, a family that has always been so supportive and wonderful to work with. After photographing Nazia’s wedding here, and also the wedding of her sister Farah the following year, the Hussains have a very special place in my heart. This is when I feel so blessed to be an Asian wedding photographer and to get to meet wonderful people in my career.
On a little note before we jump in, if you are curious to see how Nazia & Ronnie’s albums came out – spoiler alert: INCREDIBLE – click here and see the gallery!

The day started when I arrived to the house to meet the bride, Nazia, and take some photos of her getting ready, her details, Asian wedding jewellery and of course her stunning Manolos – what a classy and fashionable choice for wedding shoes. Also, let’s take a moment to appreciate the beauty of their wedding rings and that halo pear cut diamond!
The bride’s mum, dad and sister were there to help with the final touches, all of them very excited but remaining calm, something that’s quite hard to do on a wedding day but helps a lot.
One very sweet moment was when both bride and groom opened the little present and read the card that they had wrote for each other, just to be opened that day. A very romantic thing to do, and so lovely to witness and capture.
We took some photos of the groom getting ready too, at the hotel. I really loved the details in Ronnie’s suit, that had a monogram of their initials in the lining and the shirt sleeve, and the fun penguin cufflinks and stylish Louboutin shoes.

Nazia and Ronnie decided to have their couple photo shoot first thing, before the guests arrived. It was such a great idea, because it allowed us the time to take some lovely photos using the natural light before it got dark, and it also allowed us to just relax for the rest of the evening and enjoy being in the room with their guests.
The gardens in Syon Park and the Syon House Great Conservatory were the most perfect background for their bride and groom photos. And we could even arrange a little First Look moment, when Nazia and Ronnie saw each other for the first time as bride and groom! The bride’s outfit by Banwait UK was one of a kind, with beautiful green, blue and purple tones that would be seen depending on how the light fell on the fabric… It made it so original and interesting.
One thing I absolutely adore about summer weddings is the light and the long days, we used the last bits of sunlight and walked around the gardens until it was time to go inside and get married!

The wedding décor in the reception room was very luxurious and elegant, with dimmed lights, beautiful big flowers, purple lights and candles everywhere. It was total Asian wedding decor inspiration! The cake by Sweet Hollywood also had their initials in it, and looked majestic on the cake table in front of the wedding stage. And a special mention to Farah, Nazia’s sister, for making her delicious cake pops as wedding favours – make sure to check her Instagram for Farah’s pop cakes.

The first guests started to arrive and enjoyed some welcome drinks and canapés outside in the sun, while Nazia’s sisters and family prepared for the groom entrance, with rose petals and drummers.
Ronnie is form Italy and Nazia from Pakistan, and they arranged to have their Muslim wedding ceremony, or Nikah, that day too.

The bride then made her entrance to the main hall, accompanied by her proud parents, and met her happy groom on the stage for the wedding rings exchange.
Cake cutting followed, and then we took some family photos on stage while the guests showered the happy couple with gifts and presents. There were also some lovely speeches, to wish the newlywed a lifetime of love and happiness.

Nazia and Ronnie had their first dance to E Più Ti Penso, by Andrea Bocelli and Ariana Grande, a lovely song in Italian and English that was just perfect for them.
And with that, the party started! The DJ had everyone in the dance floor until the end of the night. Before it was time for me to leave, we spotted some lovely fairy lights outside and sneaked out to take a few quick photos of the bride and groom – happy photographer! 🙂
